Shubhankar Sharma Professional Golfer

Shubhankar Sharma is a professional golfer from India who has made a name for himself on the international stage. Born on March 21, 1996, Sharma started playing golf at a young age and quickly rose through the ranks to become one of India’s top golfers.

Sharma’s breakout year came in 2017, when he won the Joburg Open and the Maybank Championship, becoming the youngest Indian golfer to win on the European Tour. He continued his success in 2018, finishing runner-up at the WGC-Mexico Championship and securing his place in the 2018 European Ryder Cup team.

In 2019, Sharma continued to impress with his performances on the European Tour. He finished in the top-10 in several tournaments and was named the Sir Henry Cotton Rookie of the Year. He also became the first Indian golfer to be ranked inside the top-100 of the Official World Golf Ranking.
