Nikhil Poojari Football Player

Nikhil Poojari is a professional football player from India who currently plays as a winger for Indian Super League team Bengaluru FC and the Indian national team.

Born on May 12, 1995, Poojari started his footballing journey at a young age, joining the local football academy in his hometown of Udupi, Karnataka. He quickly rose through the ranks and was signed by Indian Super League side FC Goa in 2016.

In his debut season with FC Goa, Poojari made 11 appearances and scored one goal. He impressed with his pace and dribbling ability, earning him a call-up to the Indian national team for the 2018 SAFF Championship.

The following season, Poojari was signed by Bengaluru FC, where he has become a regular in the team’s starting lineup. He has helped the team reach the semifinals of the Indian Super League in 2019 and the final in 2020.
