Sameer Ambekar is an Indian shooter who has been making waves in the world of competitive shooting. Born on October 27, 1987 in Mumbai, Ambekar began shooting at a young age and quickly developed a passion for the sport.
Ambekar has represented India at several international competitions, including the 2010 and 2014 Commonwealth Games. At the 2010 Commonwealth Games, he won a bronze medal in the men’s 10m air rifle event.
In 2015, Ambekar won the Gold medal in the men’s 10m air rifle event at the Asian Airgun Championship, breaking the national record in the process. He followed up this impressive performance with a Silver medal at the 2016 ISSF World Cup in Baku, Azerbaijan.
Ambekar has continued to excel in shooting, and has his sights set on representing India at the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo. With his talent and dedication to the sport, he has the potential to become one of India’s top shooters and bring home a medal for his country.
