The FIFA U-17 World Cup is held every two years, with the last edition being held in Chile in 2015. 24 teams from all over the world qualified for that tournament, with Nigeria coming out on top after defeating Mali 4-2 in the final.

This year’s edition will be held in India from October 6th to 28th, with a total of 52 matches being played across 6 cities – Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Guwahati, Kochi and Navi Mumbai.

A total of 24 teams will be participating in the tournament, including powerhouses like Brazil, England and Germany.

The Indian team has been drawn into Group A alongside USA, Colombia and Ghana. They will begin their campaign against USA on October 6th at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi.

The FIFA U-17 World Cup is just around the corner, and India will be participating as hosts for the first time ever.

This is a huge moment for Indian football, and fans all over the country will be hoping that the team can make a good account of themselves on home soil.
