Gurbaj Singh is an Indian field hockey player who has represented his country at the highest level, including the Olympic Games. Born in the Indian state of Punjab, Gurbaj began playing hockey at a young age and quickly showed a natural talent for the sport.
He rose through the ranks to become one of India’s top young players, and in 2008 he was selected to represent India at the Beijing Olympics.
At the Beijing Olympics, Gurbaj helped India to a sixth-place finish, their best result in 20 years. He was a key member of the team and was praised for his strong tackling and passing ability.
