Dheeraj Singh Moirangthem is an Indian professional football goalkeeper who currently plays for Indian Super League club ATK Mohun Bagan. Born in Manipur, Dheeraj began his football career at a young age and has since become one of India’s most promising young goalkeepers.
Dheeraj first rose to prominence in 2016, when he was selected to represent India at the FIFA U-17 World Cup. He was the team’s first-choice goalkeeper and impressed with his performances, earning praise from fans and experts alike.
After the U-17 World Cup, Dheeraj joined Indian Super League club Kerala Blasters. He made his professional debut in 2018 and quickly established himself as the team’s first-choice goalkeeper. In the 2019-20 season, he was named the “Best Goalkeeper” in the league and helped Kerala Blasters reach the final.
In 2020, Dheeraj signed with ATK Mohun Bagan and continued to impress with his performances. He was a key member of the team that won the 2020-21 Indian Super League title, and was named the “Best Goalkeeper” in the league for the second time.
