Siddharth Desai – Pro Kabaddi League’s Youngest Star

Siddharth Desai is an Indian professional Kabaddi player who plays in the Pro Kabaddi League. He is the youngest player in the league and is currently playing for the Telugu Titans team.

Desai was born in Mumbai, India on September 12, 1999. He started playing Kabaddi when he was just five years old. His father, who was also a Kabaddi player, encouraged him to play the sport. 

When he was eight years old, his family moved to Pune so that he could attend a sports academy there. He later joined the Indian Army’s Kabaddi team.

In 2017, Desai made his debut in the Pro Kabaddi League. He played for the Telugu Titans team and was part of the team that won the league championship. 

He was also named the “Most Valuable Player” of the tournament.

Desai is a right-corner defender and has played a total of 24 matches in the Pro Kabaddi League. In those matches, he has made a total of 101 tackles, which is the third-highest among all defenders in the league. 

He has also scored 44 points, which includes two Super Tackles and two Super 10s.

Desai is known for his quick reflexes and agility. He is also a strong raider and has been successful in breaking through opponents’ defences. His ability to play both offence and defence makes him a valuable asset to his team.

Desai’s ultimate goal is to win an Olympic gold medal for India in Kabaddi. He also wants to help popularise the sport of Kabaddi so that it can gain more recognition globally.
