The Start

Kabaddi is in my blood says the man who started playing Kabaddi at the age of 5.

The boy who even forgot to have his food made Kabaddi his passion for life.

He was the vice-captain of the Indian team that won the gold medal at the 2007 World Cup at Panvel, India.

International Success

He has a Gold Medal in 2004 and 2007 Kabaddi World Cup.

He has won 3 Gold Medals in Asian Games in 2006, 2010 and 2014.

At the auction of the inaugural season of the Pro Kabaddi League, Kumar was the recipient of the highest bid, having been bought for ₹12.8 lakh by Patna Pirates.

In 2016 U Mumba signed Rakesh Kumar.
