Abhishek Singh is a professional Kabaddi player who plays for the India national team and the Tamil Thalaivas in the Pro Kabaddi League. He was born on the 5th of August, 1993, in Hissar, Haryana. He started playing Kabaddi at a very young age and went on to represent his state and country at the junior level.

In 2014, he made his debut for the Indian senior team and has since been a regular member of the side. He was part of the Indian team that won gold at the 2018 Asian Games. He currently holds the record for most raid points scored in a single season of the Pro Kabaddi League.

Abhishek Singh’s International Career

In 2014, Abhishek Singh made his debut for India against Pakistan in Dubai as part of the Asian Kabaddi Championship. The following year, he represented India at 2015 Asian Kabaddi Championship where India finished second losing to Iran in final.

He was also a part of Indian team that won 2016 South Asian Games and 2016 Asian Kabaddi Championship . In 2017, he played for India at 2017 Safeguard International Cup where India defeated Pakistan in final .

In 2018 , he was a member of Indian contingent that won gold medal at 2018 Jakarta Palembang Asian Games defeating Iran 44-26 in final . Currently he is one among fourteen players retained by national team ahead of 2020 Dubai Circle Style Kabaddi World Cup .
