The MI Cape Town skipper, Pollard, didn’t hold back in highlighting Rabada’s tough day on the field. Rabada’s struggles were evident as he conceded a whopping 42 runs in his three overs, with the first over turning into a nightmare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Opener Jason Roy capitalized on Rabada’s vulnerabilities, launching an onslaught with three sixes and a boundary in the first over. The Royals’ batsman left Rabada reeling, putting MICT on the back foot early in the game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a post-match video shared by MI Cape Town on X, Kieron Pollard expressed his appreciation for the team’s resilience and couldn’t resist a cheeky jab at Rabada:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Congratulations to the guys. The resilience that we have shown in the field, KG (Rabada). After that first over, looking in my direction, says, ‘Skip, I want it.’ I had no choice but to throw it for you. I thought you were in for another three, four, five sixes (laughs).”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Despite a challenging start, Rabada showed determination and came back strong in his second over. Although he conceded a couple of sixes in the initial deliveries, he had the last laugh as Jason Roy attempted a risky scoop and found the fine-leg fielder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
