Biography

Asian Games Record Holder

Tajinder has been very consistent performer for India at international stage. Tajinder’s progression clearly shows the improvement he has made in last 2-3 years.

In the throwing events, Punjab players have always dominated the nationals. Tajinder shifted his focus from cricket to Shot Put because of the insistence of his father. Surely this has been the turning point for the young athlete.

He first came in light when he managed to secure Silver position in Asian Championships held in Bhubaneswar. Later in the next year he created his personal best at Patiala before setting the national record at the Asian Games 2018, Jakarta. He scripted history with a 20.75m throw to set Games Record as well as National Record.
