Early Days of a Champion

His story of being a successful drag flicker is something different. Being a farmer’s son he learn to drive a tractor at a very early age. The gear shifting stick was difficult to operate as it required a lot of power. Somehow he learned to operate that and his muscles and strength increased. And that is the reason he has the ability to change the direction of the shot at the last moment.

He had decided to play as a forward but destiny had some other thoughts and now he plays as a defender in the Indian National Team.

Hockey World Cup 2018, Odisha, India

He is a drag flicker in the Indian hockey team and the has an important role in all the penalty corners. Harmanpreet Singh plays in Defense for Indian Team and will have a strong challenge not to concede in ending minutes.
