ISSF World Cup: Anjum Moudgil Bagged Silver Medal

This was first medal for Anjum Moudgil at ISSF events

On the sixth day of ISSF Shooting World Cup India’s Anjum Moudgil added a silver to India’s medal tally. This silver helped India remain on the top of medal tally.

India’s Anjum Moudgil won her first medal at ISSF World Cup event after she bagged a silver medal in the Women’s 50m Rifle 3 Positions (3P) event. Anjum hailing form Chandigarh performed very well but missed gold by 0.12 points. Anjum scoring 454.2 in 45 shot final finished behind Chinese player Ruijiao Pei who scored 455.4. China’s Ting Sun bagged bronze medal too with the score of 442.2. Anjum stood third after 15 shot kneel position and was leading after 15 shot prone. While in standing position her score was varying till 41st shot but after 41st shot she brought herself back into competition and finished second.
