Face of Indian Fencing, Bhavani Devi, clinched one more medal at Satellite event in Iceland. In the same tournament last year she created the history becoming first Indian to win medal at Satellite event. She had won Gold in 2017 and settles for Silver this year. This is the second Satellite Event medal of Bhavani Devi and India.

Bhavani, ranked 38 in the World, was favorite to win the tournament. She started well in Pool matches winning all the matches and finishing on top of the table. She reached to the finals with easy wins over the opponents. In the final she was against Alexis Browne of USA, World No 180.

Men’s tournament will be held tomorrow where Karan will be the only Indian part. He is current National Champion of India in Sabre at just 19 years of age.
