Bajrang Wins Yet Another Gold As India Wins 5 Medals Till Day 2

In a hard fought match between Bajrang and Kazakhstan’s Sayatbek Okassov, Bajrang proved to be superior as he won the match 12-7 in 65kg men’s freestyle. He reclaimed his Asian Championship Crown after this victory.

Parveen Rana won a silver medal as he lost the 79kg gold medal bout 0-3 to 2017 world championships bronze medallist Bahman Mohammad Teymouri of Iran.

Parveen won an important medal after 7 years. Rana had won a close 3-2 semi-final against Kazakhstan’s Galymzhan Usserbayev.

Satyawart Kadian defeated Haobin Gao of China with the score 8-1 to win the bronze medal in the 97kg category.

Rahul Aware defeated Jincheol Kim of Korea 9-2 in the men’s 61kg freestyle to win a bronze medal.

Amit Dhankhar lost to Daniyar Kaisanov of Kazakhstan 0-5 in the final in the 66 kg category.

Deepak Punia won a Bronze Medal in the 86kg category. Deepak beat Bakhodur Kodirov of Tajikistan 8-2.

With technical superiority verdict, Vicky lost the Gold medal match. Alireza Mohammad Karimimachiani of Iran was too good for Vicky and the Indian was totally outplayed  with a 11-0 loss.
