3 Indians hit top score of 50 in Qualification Day 1: Shotgun World Cup

The on-going ISSF World Cup Shot Gun held in Changwon, Korea saw Indians qualify from the qualification Day 1 to main Qualification Day with fair amount of success.

Skeet Men

  • 43 year old Mairaj Ahmad Khan scored 49 falling 1 short of a perfect 50 in two rounds at the Qualification Day 1.
    On the Qualification Day he scored 24, 25, 24, 25, 23 with a total score of 121 and thus was ranked 11th.

  • Sheikh Sheeraz who is 30 years old scored a perfect 50 on Qualification Day 1 and secured 33rd place scoring 25, 25, 21, 24, and 24 totaling it to 119.

Skeet Women

  • Sekhon Ganemat scored a total of 72 points scoring 24, 25 and 23 in the three rounds of the Qualification Day 1.
    On the Qualification Day she scores 24, 25, 23, 22, and 21 thus adding to the score of 115.
  • Chauhan Maheshwari scored 66 points which came through three rounds in which she scored 22, 21, and 23.
    Qualification Day: Scores – 22, 21, 23, 23, 21. Total Score 111.
  • Rashmi Rathore
    Qualification Day 1: Score: 21, 23, 18 Total – 62
    Qualification Day : Score: 21, 23, 18, 23, 20 Total 115

Men’s Trap

  • Tondaiman Prithviraj and Chenai Kynan both scored a perfect 50 in the Qualification Day 1 rounds.
    Tondaiman scored 25, 25, 24, 24 and 22 to gain a total score of 120 and thus was ranked 15.
  • Chenai scored 2 points less than the total score of Tondaiman thus scoring 118.
    His round wise score was 25, 25, 22, 22 and 24. He was ranked 33rd.
