Biography

The Terrific Defender

“Attack wins you games and defence wins you titles” this is applicable to any team sport.

Surender Nada has been rock solid in defence may it be the India National Team or Pro Kabaddi League Teams.

His ankle hold makes each and every defender think twice before raiding on his side.

Surender and Mohit Chhillar have become the deadliest left-right corner combo of the game.

He is consistently ranked among the Top Ten Defenders in all seasons of Pro Kabaddi league.

Escaping from the grip of Nada is almost impossible.

He was part of the 2016 World Cup winning team.

He also represented India in the 2017 Asian Kabaddi Championship.

Inspiration

Surender got inspired from his father who was also a Kabaddi player and got the strength from his brother who was a wrestler. With his brother, he used to practice Kabaddi and also represented school in various competitions.

Nada has represented U Mumba, Bengaluru Bulls, Haryana Steelers and Patna Pirates.

Even though he has crossed the age mark of 30 he is as fit as a fiddle and continues to amaze his fans every time he appears on the court.
